Say no to Heathrow expansion
The Government are about to announce whether they will give the go ahead for a third runway at Heathrow. This would cause a huge increase in carbon emissions, noise disturbance, air pollution and road traffic, as well as destroy hundreds of homes. Friends of the Earth believes the solution is investment in low carbon alternatives like video conferencing and improvements to rail services.
