Stand up to Porsche
London Mayor Ken Livingstone plans to increase the congestion charge for gas guzzlers to £25 a day. Friends of the Earth supports this move. We urgently need measures that get people to choose greener cars as well as to drive less. Yet Porsche is threatening to legally challenge the policy, claiming that it is 'unjust' and 'a disproportionate tax'.
