You can become a supporter of the group even if you cannot make the meetings! Come along and support at events and/or become a member. It costs £7.50 for an individual, £10 for an household or £4 for unwaged or student.
We have been looking at the proposed motorway that is planned to run along the top of a nature reserve which will really affect the area.
We are working on making Newport plastic bag free and are also helping Friends of the Earth Cymru oppose the Severn Barrage proposals.
We have also been campaigning on Friends of the Earth's Big Ask campaign to make the new Climate Change Bill as strong as possible, recently organising a photoshoot with both Newport MPs and members of Goldie Lookin Chain.
We will be attending a variety of events, festivals and fairs over the summer so if you see us there, come over and say hi.
The issues we work on can be endless - the more people who join the more we can do!
We wish to make people aware that they can make a difference to their environment and their future by taking little actions.
