It's time to target organics23 January 2002
Hundreds of people attended a rally and mass lobby of Parliament in a bid to make a real difference to the Government's response before the Commission on the Future of Farming and Food reports back at the end of January.
Demands included a call for an action plan for organic farming and food with 30 per cent of agricultural land in England and Wales to be organic by 2010; more accessible organic food plus long-term growth and development for the organic sector.
