TV chef calls for a tighter curb of supermarket power1 April 2007
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall has lambasted the supermarkets for their corrosive effect on the UK's food culture.

He was speaking at Friends of the Earth's Supersized Supermarkets public forum - jointly hosted with:
- Action Aid
- Tescopoly
- War on Want
The sell-out crowd heard a broad range of speakers talk about the destructive power of the supermarkets.
