No incineration for Leeds4 February 2011
Groups from across the region came together to support Leeds Friends of the Earth's campaign against a giant incinerator proposed for south Leeds.
More than 50 people showed their support by joining in a wheelie bin conga and posing for photos in front of the Civic Hall.
People came from other community groups and from a range of Friends of the Earth groups, from York to Hull, Bradford to Calderdale The group got great local press coverage of the stunt.
If you're running a recycling or incineration campaign in your community and want to borrow the wheelie bin "faces" shown in the pictures, please contact Carla.
