6 Billion Ways5 February 2009
On Saturday 28 February come to London and join 6 Billion Ways.
A day of diversity, solidarity and action to make another world possible.
This free event will bring together international speakers, film and music.
Come and be inspired by other local and global activists and networks, take part in discussions and learn new skills.
What is 6 Billion Ways about?
The event will look at the global problems that impact the poor and marginalised people of the world the hardest, and the interlinkages between them:
- Food riots and violent conflicts
- Financial markets in turmoil
- Climate change and environmental destruction
But the world doesn't have to be this way. Every person on the planet can make change happen.

6 Billion Ways will be held at Rich Mix, 35-47 Bethnal Green Road, London, E1 6LA on Saturday 28 February from 10am - midnight.

What's planned for the day?
As well as the speakers above, you will hear from a range of international speakers from countries like South Africa, Palestine & Ecuador.

- Global poverty and fair food.
- Global trade and finance alternatives.
- How to change consumer culture.
