Buy art for Christmas gifts - and help bees too
A huge auction of artworks is raising urgent funds for Friends of the Earth's The Bee Cause - and you can take part too.
The auction of more than 200 lots includes paintings, drawings, prints and other objects - and could make a perfect Christmas shopping opportunity for art lovers.
You can check out the catalogue if you'd like to take part. Online bidding has started already and closes at 5pm on 8 December.
Kicked off by none other than Stephen Fry, the auction is organised by Norwich's environment centre The Greenhouse and is also raising funds for the centre and Norwich FoodCycle.
The Greenhouse Gallery has collected work from hundreds of contributors, creating an opportunity for artists to sell their work, raise their profile - and raise much needed funds. A selection of the works can be viewed at the Greenhouse Gallery on Fridays and Saturdays until December 8.
The Greenhouse promotes decentralised/renewable energy. It provides resources and information relating to climate change and many aspects of sustainable living.
Norwich FoodCycle reclaims unsaleable vegetables, fruit, and other groceries, and transforms them into free hot meals for anyone who comes along.
