The buzz about The Bee Cause
Guess what? Friends of the Earth is running a bees campaign. I know, I know we've done our best to keep it quiet but these things just get out.
If you were under a rock then you might have missed the launch this week of The Bee Cause, our brand new campaign.
Overnight, we transformed The Stone Circle on the South Bank, London, into a massive wildflower meadow, full of beautiful bee-friendly flowers. Here's a little pic:
Nice isn't it? We attracted some bees:
And were thrilled to see some real bees enjoy our garden too.
It was exhausting but a lot of fun and worth all the effort. We got lots of media talking about our campaign, from ITV's breakfast show Daybreak and the BBC to the Daily Mail and the Guardian.
There's plenty more to come from The Bee Cause, but if you haven't already I'd suggest checking out our webpage, where you can help us convince David Cameron to commit to a bee action plan. Thank you.
