The Big Climate Connection, taking place on 5-6 November, is a fantastic opportunity to lobby your MP together with other individuals and groups in your constituency.
The mass lobby is organised by the Stop Climate Chaos coalition, which Friends of the Earth is a member of.
This could be an especially good opportunity to lobby your MP if you've never done so before - and potentially make some useful connections with other community groups in your area.
When people unite to call for action, Government takes notice
This is a key opportunity to remind MPs that climate change demands an urgent response.
With a new coalition in place and over 200 new MPs around the country, now's the time to make sure this Government steps up to the plate to tackle climate change.
What are we lobbying MPs about?
The Government needs to show it's serious about the environment to live up to its promises to be the greenest Government ever.
The forthcoming Energy Bill must ensure there is action at the local level to create a low-carbon economy and safeguard future energy security.
We should also remind MPs that the new Green Investment Bank must have sufficient funds to help finance the transition to a clean, green economy.
And with the international climate talks in Cancún later this year, we need to tell MPs to support an ambitious, binding and fair global agreement.
