Billboards target Lib Dems over clean power target17 April 2013
Billboard adverts targeting Liberal Democrat MPs have appeared in constituencies across the country this week.
The adverts, featuring a grinning George Osborne, urge the MPs to support a clean power target in the Energy Bill. Such a target is urgently needed to help tackle climate change and protect jobs.
The Chancellor is blocking the inclusion of a target. Instead he favours a reckless dash for gas that will tie us in to dirty, expensive imported power for a generation.
