A Budget for green jobs

With spending cuts starting to bite, Britain desperately needs an economic recovery plan that delivers new jobs.

At the same time, Britain is far too dependent on imports of oil at rocketing prices.

Investment in a green economy can tackle both these problems.

Friends of the Earth's budget briefing sets out measures the Chancellor can take this Wednesday to create thousands of jobs and reduce our dependence on oil.
