Nice weekend? I went to a party. It started at 2 pm on Friday and went on til 5 pm on Sunday. Lapping up the solar-powered music and mouth-watering vegan nosh was a mind-boggling range of people - from folk with 40 years' campaigning experience under their belt to an infant with less than 40 days under hers. (Actually, I don't think the wee one went for the cake). Nigeria's foremost environmental campaigner Nnimmo Bassey was there, as were four former directors of Friends of the Earth, plus colleagues from Cymru, Croatia, Croydon - you name it. Workshops, talks, photo-stunts, debates, awards - all part of the mix that was Friends of the Earth's annual conference in this, our 40th year.

I got to talk to lots of interesting people - you can hear just a few of them here.

Make sure you get yourself an invite next time.
