Campaigning in action
15 December 2009

Yesterday's Friends of the Earth action at the climate talks has been talked about in the media around the world.
It shows what is really going on in Copenhagen - and the powerful feeling that African nations were right to halt the negotiations yesterday.

It's a perfect example of how pressure from us and our supporters can really influence decisions in Copenhagen.
Rich country delegates and their leaders will have seen the blanket media coverage.
And they would be mad to ignore it.

Email the Swedes

You can help our campaign work on a daily basis by taking part in our action alerts.

These are easy to do and involve such things as emailing ministers or tweeting.

Today we're asking you to email the Swedish delegation to tell them to stop blocking the talks.

It only takes a minute (well, 65 seconds to be precise; I know, I've tried).

Another way to support us

As someone who wants to see real change, you can help us to continue to demand climate change at Copenhagen and beyond with a direct debit of just £5 a month.
