Secret talks and carbon offsetting8 December 2009
Today's events have been dominated by the news that Denmark has been holding secret back-room meetings with a few select countries.
So angry were some African campaigners, they staged a protest during the talks - marching through the conference centre before giving speeches in the canteen.
A rumour is going round that they now risk having their accreditation withdrawn.
One of the Danish proposals backed by other rich countries is to expand carbon offsetting - even though it doesn't work.
Carbon offsetting is a con - and some of our campaigners dressed up as a magician and his assistant to make the point to delegates (pictured).
Tomorrow our campaigners are meeting negotiators from the 132 developing countries at the talks.
These represent some of the poorest people on the planet - those who are being worst hit by climate change.
We're going to look at how we can work together to make sure there is a strong andĀ fair agreement on tackling climate change.
We're also planning a stunt at the Bella Center highlighting the lack of ambition from rich countries on cutting carbon emissions.
I'll keep you posted.
PS: Tomorrow is the last day of the Big Give where we can double any donation from you - please give if you can.
