Outrage in Copenhagen8 December 2009
Day two of the Copenhagen talks and already there is outrage.
Yesterday it emerged that the Danish Government has been holding meetings with rich countries behind closed doors.
Poorer countries - the ones most affected by climate change - were not invited to the table.
To add insult to injury, there are already draft agreements circulating that favour the rich nations.
You can help us stop this by writing a letter to Connie Hedegaard (pictured) Denmark's climate negotiator and president of the conference.
It's easy to do and it could help influence the direction of the talks.
And while you're at it, why not sign up to our daily action alerts.
These are easy things you can do to make a difference to the climate negotiations as they unfold.
Later today, Friends of the Earth Director Andy Atkins will be meeting the heads of the European delegation.
He'll make it clear that we are outraged by Denmark's behaviour.
He'll also be lobbying them to lead the way at the talks, ensuring there is a strong and fair agreement on tackling climate change.
I'll keep you posted as I find out more.
