Something for the weekend
26 November 2009

I'm not talking about this weekend, but the one after.

That way you get enough time to prepare.

On Saturday 5 December, tens of thousands of people are expected in London for the UK's biggest ever march for climate action.

It's been dubbed The Wave because lots of people dressed in blue will flood the streets of the capital.

It'll be nice if you want to wear something blue. Personally, I've never been one for fancy dress, but even I have a blue jacket and jeans.

The Wave is organised by the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition. This is 11 million strong and represents more than 100 organisations - including Friends of the Earth.

We want to show the Government that there's widespread support for a strong and fair agreement on tackling climate change.

And to take that message to the Copenhagen climate talks.

You'll be adding your feet to thousands of others and making a statement the Government can't ignore.

So please try to be there. As the surfer might say - catch a truly awesome wave.

I'll post you another reminder next week.
