Fabulous turn out for climate march7 December 2009
A great afternoon on Saturday at the Wave in London - the rain managed to hold off until the very last stages.
My children thought Christmas had come early when they hitched a ride in a cycle taxi that was on the march .
And all the family were excited to be part of a crowd of 50,000 from all over the country.

I heard that there were good turn-outs for the marches in Glasgow and Belfast too.
It's the kind of thing that politicians notice - including those at the very top.
After our march had set off, word came round that the Prime Minister wanted to meet the Wave's organisers later in the day.
This included Friends of the Earth's Director Andy Atkins and Dave Coleman from Friends of the Earth Manchester.

So what was said? Dave told the PM that his group has helped persuade Manchester City Council to aim for emissions reductions of 41 per cent by 2020.
This is in line with what the science says we need to do.
And he urged Gordon Brown to aim for an equally ambitious, scientifically sound, target at the Copenhagen climate talks.
