Getting creative26 October 2010
Members of Barnet and Enfield Friends of the Earth have come up with a unique way to get support from members of the public for planet-friendly farming - their own campaign resources.
With the help of local people the group have been calling on their MPs to fix the target=_self>Food Chain. They've collected hundreds of signatures on postcards calling for a new meat and dairy law - which have been sent on to MPs in Westminster.

That little bit extra
The group wanted to develop new ideas to help get the public interested. So they decided to create some different resources to use on their stalls alongside the postcards.
Getting creative
Group member Donald Lyven created the materials by combining campaign information with striking images of:
- Rainforest destruction in South America
- Intensive factory farming
- Food imports.

Make your own
The new resources have been very helpful in getting members of the public interested in the campaign. They've helped draw people's attention to the group's stalls.

The group is keen to share the materials with others and have made both the text and images available to download.
We hope that other groups will be inspired to make up their own materials. The pictures have been really useful when pointing out the main problems surrounding the Food Chain. They make it easy to understand.
