5th June: The first week 5 June 2009
It's already the end of week one of the climate negotiations here in Bonn.
On Friday Young Friends of the Earth Europe members dressed in white suits in a local park to form a human banner.
They spelt out the message 'Yes You Can!' telling world leaders that time is running out to deliver a strong and just climate deal.

Our young activists have been an incredible asset here in Bonn. At another event they also dressed in blue amongst a sea of white to depict a flood.

They spoke passionately from the stage outside the conference venue about:
- Climate debt
- Emissions cuts needed from rich industrialised nations
- The need to protect environmental refugees
The flood comes to Bonn
Our international petition is also being advertised all over Bonn.
Wellington boots and life jackets with messages on them have been positioned around the city to promote the site.
One resident of Bonn told us that this was the first time she had seen anything about climate change in Bonn itself.
