I've had two projects in the pipeline for months now - one at work, one at home. On Monday, I ticked both off my 'to do' list. Spot the connection...

1. We published Feed in tariffs and the renewable heat incentive: Your questions answered. If you like the idea of getting paid to generate clean energy, and cut your bills, this booklet is a great place to start.

2. I had solar PV (photovoltaic) panels installed on my own house. The team arrived as we left for work - they were finished by lunchtime. The panels are fab. The only unfortunate side effect is our new obsession with watching our monitor to see how much money we're making each day. The novelty will soon wear off I'm sure ...
