Lounging on the farm15 July 2009
After the success of the Wychwood Festival we packed up our Food Chain Campaign farmyard and headed to Canterbury.
We joined the likes of Edwyn Collins, The Horrors and Mr Scruff at the Lounge on the Farm Festival.
The giant animal props were popular with kids
It was great to discover that the organisers already had food on their minds.
Only local food traders from Kent and East Sussex were on site. And all of the fruit and vegetables came from a 20 mile radius.
A great crowd
Much of the crowd also came from nearby.
They cared passionately about their local area, local farmers, and the global environment.
And most of them were really keen to send their MP a postcard - asking them to fix the food chain.

Festival-goers flocked to our tent
Help fix the food chain today
You don't need to be at a festival to help fix the food chain.
