New All Party Group on Free Trade1 February 2003
A new All Party Group on Free Trade has been set up in Parliament to look at the impacts of Free Trade.
The politically non-aligned Group will "act as a focus for the debate and consider the impact of free trade treaties on parliamentary institutions, as well as obtaining and disseminating information. [The Group] will invite key protagonists to raise awareness and inform our decisions on free trade."
Friends of the Earth has been invited to participate and so we will be able to input our concerns directly.
