Get Serious About CO2: Campaign launch appeal25 June 2009
The latest science tells us that CO2 emissions must fall urgently to avoid runaway climate change.
Local councils have a big say in emissions from homes, energy and transport. If they took action it would:
- Create jobs
- Slash fuel bills
- Cut CO2
This month thousands of our supporters will start asking their councils to Get Serious About CO2.
But we also need help raising £70 000 to make the campaign a success.
Councils are key
Councils must commit to reducing CO2 by at least 40% by 2020.
You can help make this happen by donating to our Get Serious About CO2 launch appeal.
We know our campaigns work - just look at the Big Ask
Make a donation today
Your gift to the Get Serious About CO2 appeal will enable us to:
- Influence key decision makers
- Research the benefits of taking action
- Train local activists in creating real world change
Visit our appeal page for more information about giving to the campaign.
How else can I help?
- Ask your MP to help councils get serious about CO2
