2009

Join us in Copenhagen
30 July 2009

In December the Danish capital of Copenhagen is hosting crucial talks on climate change.

The talks run from 7-18 December and are the latest in a series of efforts to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.

We invited people to come to Copenhagen to support The Flood on 12 December, Friends of the Earth International's action during the talks.

All booked up

Please note that the trip is now fully booked and no more spaces are available.

We'll contact you to let you know if you have been successful.

If you have any questions please let me know.

How will I get there?

We'll be taking the Eurostar from London Kings Cross to Brussels on 11 December. The train leaves London at 0557.

Please note there are unlikely to be London Underground trains operating before the last check-in time.

From Brussels we've chartered coaches to get to Copenhagen.

We'll be returning to London on 14 December - arriving back at 2133.

Where will I stay?

We've arranged very basic accommodation in Copenhagen. You'll need to bring a roll-up sleeping mat and sleeping bag. We recommend you arrange your own travel insurance.

What's planned?

Along with thousands of others we'll be flooding the streets of Copenhagen on 12 December to Demand Climate Change. We'll be using our bodies and voices to create a spectacular message that our leaders cannot ignore.

Can't come to Copenhagen?

Then come together to stop climate chaos in London on 5 December and join The Wave instead.
