Government still deciding on food bill

The Environment Secretary, Caroline Spelman, is still considering whether to back an important new meat and dairy law.

With just one week to go until a crucial vote on the Sustainable Livestock Bill she said she needed more time to "work it through with officials".

Mass MOOvement

More than 55,000 people have taken action demanding Government action to fix the food chain.

As a result MPs are committing to vote for the Bill when it is debated in the House of Commons on 12 November.
