Practical solutions to financial problems16 December 2011
Hackney and Tower Hamlets Friends of the Earth recently held a successful conference to help local authorities share good practice in financial sustainability.
The group are working with other local groups to promote the Get Serious campaign which urges local authorities to commit to reducing emissions by 40% by 2020.
This conference demonstrates the wealth of innovative opportunities that councils have to finance critical sustainability work in their local areas.
