Havant goes greener24 May 2011
Working with the local council and Transition group, Havant Friends of the Earth are launching the town's first green festival.
Showing how small changes can make a big difference, Havant Goes Greener Week has lots of events planned, including:
- a film screening
- talks on bee-keeping, energy efficiency, going solar and growing your own food
- bike rides to encourage greener travel.
We want to encourage changes like reducing waste, supporting local shops, using the bus or bike instead of the car, buying greener energy and caring for our open spaces

Havant Goes Greener Week starts on Monday 23 May, with events throughout the week, culminating with a Family Green Fair in Havant on Saturday 28 May.
