On Friday delegates at the climate talks arrived to see a makeshift classroom set up on the grounds of the conference centre.
Leaders of the nine richest industrialised countries were put into detention because they had failed to do their climate homework.
Gordon Brown does his climate homework.
Gordon Brown was amongst those who were forced to write out lines on a blackboard. They promised they would:
- Repay their climate debt
- Cut emissions
- Reject false solutions such as offsetting
Photos from the classroom have appeared in newspapers as far as Japan.
Young Friends of the Earth Europe - who organised the event - also featured on a number of national radio stations across Europe.
