New wind co-op launches9 July 2012
Five 250kW wind turbines are to be built across Northern Ireland between January and March next year.
Drumlin Wind Energy Co-operative will generate enough electricity to power the equivalent of 400 households.
By becoming engaged in this new enterprise we can lay the foundations for what could become a new way of doing business in Northern Ireland. One where you get the financial rewards, where the profits remain in the local economy and where you have a genuine stake in our future.
Stephen Agnew MLA (elected Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly)
Anyone can buy shares and invest in the project.
