New tickets released for Conference rally

All Weekend Tickets and Day Tickets for Friends of the Earth's Conference 2012 (14-16 September, Imperial College) have been sold.

In response to demand, a limited number of further tickets have been released for the Saturday rally, hosted by Andy Atkins. These will be valid from 5pm on Saturday 15 September only.

Each speaker is someone groundbreaking or innovative who'll say what 'See Thing Differently' means to them.

Vivienne Westwood

Vivienne Westwood is one of the most influential fashion designers in the world. She's been central to the creation of the look for several cultural movements including punk and new romanticism. Her career has won her innumerable awards.

In Autumn/Winter 2005/06, Vivienne Westwood unveiled her cultural manifesto called "Active Resistance to Propaganda". The manifesto is a call to all to become more cultivated and in doing so more human. Vivienne is the patron of anti-torture charity Reprieve and is part of an ongoing collaboration eco charity Cool Earth.

Caroline Lucas

Caroline Lucas is the UK's first Green MP. She previously served as an MEP and a local councillor. She is a passionate campaigner on the environment, social justice and human rights. Awards include being voted the UK's Most Ethical Politician in 2007, 2009 and 2010 by Observer readers.

Caroline continues to be an active campaigner on a range of issues and is Vice President of the RSPCA; a CND National Council Member; a Director of the International Forum on Globalisation; and a Matron of the Women's Environmental Network.

Lidy Nacpil

Lidy Nacpil is one of the most prominent leaders of the social movements in Asia. She's the co-ordinator of Jubilee South Asia, vice president of the Freedom from Debt Coalition in the Philippines and a well known feminist. She's also a respected voice in the campaign for the payment of climate/ecological debt.

In her former role as International Coordinator of Jubilee South, Lidy was central to the international Make Poverty History campaign. Prior to that, Lidy was a student activist during the time of the Marcos dictatorship in the Philippines.
