Middlesbrough group blows opposition away 14 March 2011
Middlesbrough Friends of the Earth are celebrating a successful planning application for the four turbine Lambs Hill windfarm in the Stockton area.
The group coordinator Rob Tucker supported the windfarm at the planning meeting in early March.
There was some strong opposition to the development. However, a number of local residents and businesses supported the application along with Middlesbrough Friends of the Earth.
The group have worked hard to promote windfarms and renewable energy projects in the area including supporting the successful Seamer windfarm application last year.
