A new meat and dairy law is set to be debated in called Parliament on 12 November. The group called on Ms Featherstone to attend the debate and help get get British farmers to feed their animals on locally grown food.

Currently vast amounts of soya are imported from South America to feed our livestock. Large areas of rainforest are being cleared to grow this soya - adding to climate change and decimating wildlife.

Ms Featherstone later blogged about the meeting saying how much she liked the cow masks.
