Gaining ground in Portsmouth26 May 2011
The success just keeps growing.
Portsmouth Friends of the Earth are enjoying some well deserved recognition for their work on the Grow to Eat well project.
Following the success of their Big Lottery Fund grant of £250,000 last year, the group have been awarded funding from Portsmouth council to support their work with vulnerable people.
If this wasn't enough, the group have also been chosen as one of the Lord Mayor's six charities for 2011-2012 to take part in the "Positively Portsmouth" campaign, helping young people develop self-esteem through working with voluntary groups.
Well done to all involved!
