Rolling towards climate action in Europe13 October 2011
Young activists from across Europe are calling on the European Union to raise its ambition in tackling climate change.
They delivered a giant coin symbolising their demands to European ministers meeting in Luxembourg .
The giant one Euro cent coin was delivered alongside a petition as part of the Push Europe campaign.
The campaign involves a number of youth organisations including:
- Young Friends of the Earth Europe
- UK Youth Climate Coalition
They're calling for greater investment in climate protection and higher European climate targets.

Action at home
Over 5,000 young activists from across Europe have made symbolic money transfers of one cent to their governments.
Members of Young Friends of the Earth collected 1p donations at our recent Conference.
The donations have been sent to the Department of Energy and Climate Change demanding investment in a low-carbon economy.
