Do you need guts to recycle?
Certain parts of the media would have me believe that I am a very brave person.
Not because I enjoy extreme sports or fighting murderous space aliens in my spare time - but because I am not frightened of recycling.
Apparently I should be feeling persecuted. But I can actually look a bottle bank straight in the eye without breaking sweat.
Talk of 'recycling tyranny' has made putting out my green bin feel like taking on a mighty enemy.
But now it seems that I'm not so special after all.
Thousands of our supporters want to boost recycling and cut waste across the country.
This week Terry from Exeter asked the Prime Minister:
"My local council doesn't collect glass bottles or food waste for recycling. I have friends in Bristol and other places who get all this stuff collected from their houses. Why can't we?"
Wow. Terry is so unafraid of recycling that he's actually asking for more items to be collected from his doorstep. That's real courage.
Or is it? The other messages we're getting in suggest that lots of you share his attitude.
Our new campaign - Talking half as much rubbish - is all about making sure that Government hears these voices and not just the screaming headlines. John from Chard summed it up perfectly:
"The willingness of people to have a responsible attitude to waste is being ignored."
Please help us make sure Britain's brave recyclers are no longer ignored.
