Renewables Campaign 20086 October 2008
Our new priority campaign on renewable energy is now up and running - aiming to start a renewable energy revolution in the UK.
Last year the UK Government agreed to meet specific renewable energy targets by 2020. Now it is trying to wriggle out of these commitments.
Next year the Government will also publish its strategy on renewable energy. As we move into 2009 our campaign will focus on this. We want to see thriving home grown renewable energy industry in the UK.
