Join the Rio+20 conversation1 June 2012
As we prepare for the Rio+20 United Nations Sustainable Development Conference next month, here are several ways for local activists to find out more and get involved.
Laya's had her say - how about you?
Solihull group member Laya Taheri feels strongly about Rio+20 and what's on offer in the UN draft discussion document The Future We Want. She's used our online networking space Campaign Hubs to give her views.
The Future We Want states the obvious but nothing major in regards to what needs to be done and how to tackle the challenging issues we are facing today globally.

Read more of Laya's thoughts and share yours in the International Climate hub. There'll be exclusive updates on Rio+20 on the Hub throughout June, so look out for inside information.
We'll also be relaunching Campaign Hubs in July with a new look and new features to make it more useful and more flexible than ever before. Connect with the Hubs in the coming weeks and you'll notice the difference.
Samba to success
The Stop Climate Chaos coalition of more than 100 organisations including Friends of the Earth is inviting local activists to join the Rio Connection this summer. All around the country, people wil be holding Brazillian themed events to raise public awareness of the need for action on climate change.
Brazilian food, football, carnivals and beach parties - all will be valuable ways of getting the message across.
You can also ask MP's (or Assembly members in Wales) to show their support by endorsing the Stop Climate Chaos Rio Declaration.
