I don't get to work on a hot snog every day in my job in communications at Friends of the Earth.

But when Barack Obama said 'insulation - it's sexy stuff', we took him at face value.

The heroine of our tongue-in-cheek new video, currently racking up YouTube views, is driven wild by energy-efficient boilers and cavity wall insulation.

Our point? Individuals can't stop all the UK's draughty homes leaking heat - so we need the Government to lead a nationwide refit.

Everyone involved in making the film gave their time generously at a discounted rate. And at the shoot we knew we were onto a winner when the crew guffawed loudly after every take.

It's been great having such talented young actors on board. Lily James - who's been likened to Gemma Arterton - was in the new Just William series and Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Daniel Rigby starred as Eric Morecombe in the recent BBC drama Eric and Ernie and is a stand-up comic in his own right.
