Be part of the summer camp season10 August 2011
Young Friends of the Earth organised a successful European summer camp in July, and now it's time to gather in the UK in August.

Participants at the European summer camp
It's the perfect time of year to come together and share ideas and experience in the great outdoors.
A European summer camp
Over 60 young people from European Friends of the Earth groups came together at the village of Onod in Hungary in July.
The group took part in inspiring discussions about campaigning on climate change and food security.
Other activities ranged from practical skillshare sessions to a refreshing splash in the lake.
It was a chance to get to know the local community, discuss the local environmental problems and share understanding about global issues.
Through the tough impacts of stronger and more frequent floods, our community realised that people can't destroy and abuse the planet forever.
I do believe that young people in this camp can make a change by working towards a just and sustainable future.
Jozsef Tarnoczi, Mayor of Onod
The European camp inspired everyone to do similar events in their home countries.
Summer camp in the UK

We're organising a summer camp in August. The focus will be on the Push Europe campaign - a youth-led campaign pushing the EU for real action on climate change.
It'll run from 19-21 August - two action-packed days with music, games, workshops and entertainment, near to the stunning wind farm on Ogden Moor in Yorkshire.
