Supporter of the Week: Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall
To celebrate Friends of the Earth's 40th anniversary, I've been talking to some of the supporters who've made it all possible. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall (right), chef and campaigner, brings an ethical approach to eating.
"I enjoy eating meat - but there are various extremely good reasons for eating less of it.
"There's the issue of animal welfare, there's our personal health.
But what's becoming increasingly compelling is the unavoidable fact that eating less meat is better for the planet.
Find out why Friends of the Earth's Fix the Food Chain campaign is so important and what you can do to help.
Next week: Marco Cadena. To see all the supporters I've interviewed, visit our 40th anniversary gallery.
