Look out for special one-off taster events for the UK Green Film Festival.

The UK Green Film Festival returns in late 2011 with special one-off screenings of the The Light Bulb Conspiracy. Supported by Friends of the Earth, the main festival will take place between 18-20 May 2012.

The Light Bulb Conspiracy is the story of products that are designed to fail, creating mountains of waste and generating big profits for companies. The film is showing at the following cinemas:

In 2012 the UK Green Film Festival will be back at the same independent cinemas in Glasgow, Leeds, London, Leicester and Cardiff. But it'll be adding some new venues too. Further updates will follow in the New Year.

The UK Green Film Festival showcases films with an environmental twist and aims to inspire and entertain as well as educate people.
