Gear up for summer stalls
19 April 2011

Are you going to be doing street stalls over the summer?

If you're wondering what to take along, take a leaf out of Blackwater Valley Friends of the Earth's book and start talking rubbish.

Group members engaged local residents with a waste survey, waste campaign postcards and games for the kids.

After a fun day's campaigning the group had 42 completed questionnaires and 40 postcards asking David Cameron to 'talk half as much rubbish'.

Something for the children

To entice the parents, the group cunningly created a colouring corner for children, including resources supplied by the Friends of the Earth Youth and Education Network. It was a great attraction for young people and parents.

The children loved the colouring corner we created

Order materials for your stall

If you're planning a stall this summer remember to order your resources from us, and don't forget to include a sign-up sheet for your group to collect contact details of people interested in joining. There's a template version for you to change as necessary.
