The Wave is coming3 August 2009
Join The Wave - the country's biggest ever demonstration in support of action on climate change.

On Saturday 5 December 2009 tens of thousands of people will flow through the streets of London.
People from all walks of life will demonstrate their support for a safe climate future for everyone.
Ways to The Wave
There are lots of great ways to get involved and join The Wave from all around the country. Find out more.
Key moment
The Wave comes ahead of important international climate talks in Copenhagen. World leaders will meet between 7-18 December to decide how to tackle climate change.
Together we can inspire our Government to:
- Quit dirty coal
- Build a green economy
- Protect the world's poorest and most vulnerable communities.
The Wave is organised by the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition - 11 million strong and representing over 100 organisations.

Paint it blue
On Saturday 5 December thousands of people will don something blue and flood the streets of central London.
The Wave will start in central London at 12 noon and there will be a rally while people assemble. You can see a map of the route here.
What's the plan?
The Wave will move towards Westminster via Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and Downing Street.
As Big Ben chimes 3pm a wave of blue will flow through the people encircling Parliament.

Join us in Copenhagen
We're also inviting people to come to Copenhagen to support The Flood - Friends of the Earth International's action during the talks. Find out more.
Demand climate change
Our new campaign calls on world leaders to do the right thing at Copenhagen. Thousands across the world have already demanded climate change.
Join them and take action now.
