Young Friends of the Earth Network Gathering1 April 2011
Back in March, young Friends of the Earth members from all over Europe got together to talk about future campaigns and network development.
Strengthening the network
There were participants from more than 20 countries across Europe. The tight agenda provided a great opportunity for networking and sharing ideas.
The discussions emphasised the ways European youth can participate in the work of Friends of the Earth.
The participants also talked about their position on certain crucial issues such as climate change and food production.
Climate Justice Working Group
At the gathering participants discussed their involvement in Friends of the Earth International's Climate Justice programme.
The Climate Justice group has been also agreeing the next steps in their current youth climate campaigns.

Summer Camp
Young Friends of the Earth Europe will organise a Summer Camp for participants across Europe in July. It will focus on training and skill sharing - facilitated by Friends of the Earth staff from different countries.
