What are they planning?20 December 2011
Tuesday 31 January 2012
12:00 - 14:00
Long Gallery, Stormont
You are invited to attend the launch of our 'What are they planning?' campaign in the Long Gallery, Parliament Buildings, Stormont.
This is your opportunity to get involved with our campaign to reform the planning system.
Crisis of confidence
Queen's University Belfast recently conducted a survey on the planning system on behalf of Friends of the Earth. The results show a system in crisis.
Time for a change
Northern Ireland's planning system needs a major overhual to make it fit for purpose. We'd love you to get involved and transform the system into one that serves people, the environment, and the economy equally.
Come to the launch
If you would like to attend the launch at Stormont please let us know no later than 12 January 2012.
Parking is very restricted so you will need to give yourself plenty of time. Aim to be there by 11.30.
Better still, take the bus. The 4a will drop you at the front gates of Stormont estate. Allow at least 30 minutes to walk up to Parliament Buildings and get through security. The 11.05 from Donegall Square West is the best option.
The 20a drops off in the estate. The 10.49 from Donegall Square West gets in at around 11.10 but there will be plenty of opportunities for networking before the event starts.
Get active
If you're interested in becoming a 'What are they planning?' activist please send us your details.
We look forward to seeing you at the launch and to working with you to transform the planning system.
