Friends of the Earth Board Members

Voluntary role

Friends of the Earth is seeking 2-3 new board members to complement our existing diverse range of skills and expertise.

You will join the team which oversees the development and implementation of the organisation's overall strategy, as well as its financial management. You do not have to be a current supporter of Friends of the Earth or an activist but you will want to use your skills and experience to help make us a more effective campaigning organisation. You will ideally have worked with committees or boards. Additionally you will have some experience of one of the following:

• fundraising strategy and development;
• research, especially in a policy-driving context;
• communications and/or branding, and especially in the use of new media.

We are keen to receive applications from people from a range of backgrounds.

Board members volunteer their time for Friends of the Earth, but reasonable expenses are met in full. The rewards come from helping steer the UK's most influential environmental campaigning organisation.
