Volunteer to be part of an award-winning publishing team.
We can offer you excellent training and experience in a busy news and features environment.
We'd like you to commit to a minimum of two days a week for four months, and have some experience of writing for the web and/or publications.

Overview
You'll help with our award-winning website, social media, video and magazines. You'll be joining a thriving team of volunteers at Friends of the Earth and get the chance to work alongside professional editors, campaigners, press officers and fundraisers.
What you'll get out of it
You'll gain experience of working in a busy publishing office. Our volunteers are an integral part of our communications team. You can develop your writing skills and build on your existing experience.
Key tasks
- Writing news and feature articles for our website and mags.
- Subbing web pages.
- Administering website enquiries.
You need to have
- Excellent written English.
- A journalism qual or experience of writing for a publication.
- Good organisational skills.
- A willingness to work on a variety of tasks and to learn new skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
