Why volunteer?

Picture of Neil Fish, IT Volunteer"I volunteered to gain experience in the network support sector."

People volunteer for all types of reasons. You may want to update your skills, be active, or improve your job prospects. There is no typical volunteer but it helps if you are interested in environmental issues and can work effectively as part of a team

"I volunteered because I was getting bored with sitting home all day and filling in application forms. Also, it looks better to a potential employer to see that you are currently active."
