Commenting on Tony Blair's speech at today's Labour Party Conference
in Blackpool, Friends of the Earth Director Charles Secrett said:
"Mr Blair's speech today contained very little to assure us of his recently stated commitment to "put environment at the heart of our [Labour's] decision-making - where it belongs" [1]. However, tommorow's debate on the environment provides Labour with a further opportunity to spell out how they intend to tackle the environmental problems we all face. Friends of the Earth will be listening with interest."
